Jacques Tati's most famous film Les Vacances de Monsieur Hulot marks the debut of Tati's alter ego, M. Hulot, a gangly and awkward Frenchman, perpetually the center and possible cause of a whirlwind of disasters, pratfalls, and mishaps.
