TheDave Brubeck 3-CD set has Time Out from 1959, with Paul Desmond on sax, Eugene Wright on bass, Joe Morello on drums, and tracks like Take Five and Blue Rondo a la Turk, plus Brubeck Time (1954) and the 1956 solo album Brubeck Plays Brubeck with numbers like The Duke and In Your Own Sweet Way.

The Bill Evans 3-CD set includes Portrait In Jazz from 1959, with Scott LaFaro on bass, Paul Motian on drums, and tracks like Autumn Leaves and Blue in Green (Evans seminal composition from Miles Davis' Kind of Blue), plus New Jazz Conceptions(1956), and the 1958 classic Everybody Digs Bill Evans.

Wonderful music. I hadn't realised what I had been missing all these years. Excellent value for money; the recordings are clear and the background info contained within the packs is well produced and informative.
