The USB turntables from Ion are a wonderfully simple and inexpensive solution for converting your cherished vinyl collection into digital files.

It takes just a few minutes to set up as does loading of the software onto your computer, using the user-friendly instruction guide. All that is needed to connect the two is the supplied USB cable.

Worth twice the money. Didn't have the dust-lid when I bought mine so I use a refrigerator fruit bin, fits perfectly. Extremely easy to use. Don't even have to turn the table on to record through the 1/8 stereo line-in & it'll record any audio you can plug-in to that line-in. Have had it a year & have recorded nearly 400 albums & over 200 tapes, plus studio recorded music of my own from another digital recorder. Can then press a CD of your own music. Fantastic machine.

This is such a good idea! The instructions are clear, giving details of a couple of issues there might be & how to solve them, and the product is really easy to use. Well worth every penny.

I'm assuming that the reviewer who awarded the product one star has a PC, but for what it is, the Ion is actually pretty easy to use. The Audacity software takes some time to get used to, but you should be able to start digitising your vinyl within half an hour. Alternatively, there is a review on the vinyl/tape digitiser box which if you follow the advice, will save you shelling out a lot of money. By the way, Audacity doesn't allow you to convert vinyl Phil Collins records.

Excellent product, best present i have ever been given. All my old vinyl albums & singles are now on CD, the enjoyment & memories are fantastic & it is so simple to use
