Underwhelmed! The software doesn't interface well with iTunes so it's not possible to organise and name tracks properly; also the recorder doesn't read the number of tracks acccurately so you end up with an album of more or fewer tracks than are actually recorded. Quality of taping isn't great.

The software supplied is extremely poorly written. And having to use iTunes as well is very poor. Fortunately one can use the FreeWare Audacity software which is far superior and inputs from the tape player fine. The software needs to improve to make this a really good product

Easy to install, almost idiot proof. Recorded side one of my first tape perfectly except on “automatic” track splitting it divided one track into separate files as there was a pause in the music. When I rewound the tape to record the track “manually” it got stuck and chewed the tape up. I contacted the distributor who contacted Ion and while they offered to replace the faulty unit or give me a full refund I was offered nothing for the loss of an irreplaceable tape, trust me I’ve looked online, it’s gone. You have been warned.
