Bring your much-loved film negative and slide collection to life by transforming them into digital files and save directly to SD card  No PC required.

Once saved to SD card you can playback images on a digital photo frame, a television with SD card slot or using the video output connection, your mobile phone, computer, or take them to be printed.

If you want to go one step further and convert those old, negative images into positives and bring them back to life then use the USB cable provided. This will need the use of a PC/MAC, but simply connect the cable to your computer and drag the saved images from the SD card to your computer for storage, viewing or further editing.

Comes with a free 1GB SD memory card  enough to store 1000 images!

    this would be more useful to users if it had included the 110mm negative film holder. There are thousands of people with 110mm film negatives from the 70's that would like to digitise them.

    I was considering purchasing this as the ad says no pc is required, yet having to use photo imaging software such as Photoshop to produce positives from slides does require a pc. Ad should state this.

    Any decent image editing software will invert your negatised slide image to its positive state. Photoshop, or a more inexpensive package should have this feature.

    The ad. said the device can be used for negatives and slides. It is fine for my negatives, positives being produced, but I assumed that I would be able to produce copies of my positive slides. This is not possible, a negative copy is produced. You should make clear what is meant by "producing copies" of slides.
