Seeing as many holidaymakers still travel to European countries in search of the sun ( Spain, Portugal, Italy etc.), it should be pointed out that many broadcasters have stopped their short wave services to Europe. Tuning in to the BBC World Service is I'm afraid a thing of the past (unless you take your lap-top with you!)Given that in 40 years of living in Spain I have collected all manner of SW receivers which are now pretty well useless to me, I find the advertising slant, for undoubtedly a perfectly good product, to be frankly misleading.
