Constructed from weather resistant powder coated metal with aluminium support arms, the material used is a tough 300grm polyester which has been UV stabilised for resistance to fading. Extending and retracting is done simply by turning the winding handle.
For fitting, simply attach the brackets to the wall: all you will need is a power drill, spirit level and an adjustable spanner. Once the brackets are fitted, lift and hang the pre-assembled awning, and it's done.
