Beginning with A.A. Milne in 1929 reading Chapter Three of Winnie the Pooh (In Which Pooh and Piglet go Hunting and nearly catch a Woozle), the CD includes Tolkien reading from The Hobbit, Roald Dahl reading from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, a Paddington bear story from Michael Bond and an extract from Penelope Livelys The Ghost of Thomas Kempe, finishing with Anne Fine reading from Flour Babies - winner of the Whitbread Children's Book Award and Carnegie Medal.
