This groundhugging perennial will blanket your borders in a profusion of large, flat heads of mauve-pink flowers throughout the summer.

Sedum spectabile can be planted in drifts for maximum effect and is best suited when grown near the front of a border in a sunny position in well-drained soil.

Attractive to butterflies and bees as it is a source of nectar.

Can be used to make dried-flowers.

Supplied as bareroots.
