Inspired by Field Marshal Montgomery, these original, British made, classic Montgomery Duffel coats are 70% wool and available for men and women.
For more than a century, warm, windproof and robust Duffel coats have been worn by the armed forces in battles on land and sea. Their most famous military wearer was undoubtedly Field Marshal Montgomery who changed his army great coat for a standard issue Duffel so that he would appear no different from his men and demonstrate his affection for his troops.
The original duffel became synonymous with the Field Marshal and has carried the name Montgomery duffel ever since. Made by the original British manufacturer, each coat is finished with a roomy hood, deep patch pockets, a throat latch, adjustable cuffs, and bound seams, and features leather toggles and horn pegs.
Made of 70% wool, 30% synthetic fibres. Dry clean only. Available in sizes: 38,40, 42, 44, 46, 48 in camel, red, charcoal or navy
