Bought one of these to keep my phone and MP3 player charged on a long walking and camping trip. First of all, you need good weather (sunshine) to get the freeloader fully charged. Doesn't help if you're sitting in a tent on a wet day or walking through the rain!. Also, there's no easy way to attach the solar panel bit to a backpack or moving object - so it's difficult to charge when you're actually on the move. Later, I quickly found that although the charger appeared to be fully charged, it wasn;t transferring the power to my gadgets. Eventually I had to give up. When I reached home I called the suppliers. They suggested various things one of which was to connect the divices directly to the charger (without using the supplied cable). This seemed to work hence the cable seemed to have been faulty. However, they didn't offer me a replacement and seemed to be aware of this as a common problem - which makes me wonder why they continued to supply cables that might have been dodgy. As a result, I'm not too impressed...
