Lovely set at a very reasonable price. You really don't need any more than 5 knives in the kitchen, you just need good ones. I put a new edge on this set and they have remained extremely sharp ever since, even when I am lazy and don't wash or dry them.
The block is sturdy and nicely treated. I guess you could not like it aesthetically but I do and so it suits me well.
Obviously these are not going to beat Global etc in terms of weighting and quality but for the price I think these are excellent. I don't intend buying any more knives for a very long time (10 years if their guaranty is to be believed...)
