'Alligator' onion chopper:
The 'Alligator' onion chopper makes the horrible job of chopping onions quick and easy. It chops onions and any other vegetables in one stroke.
This sturdy, well designed tool is easy to use: simply peel an onion and cut it in half, put one half into the Alligator cutter and push down firmly.
Fast, safe and easy to use, the Alligator has no exposed blades, but a lattice of thin blades. With normal handling, you never touch the blades as the sharp sides face downwards. All of the blades cut down at the same time, finely chopping your onion or vegetable in one second.
The Alligator is easy to clean, as it simply rinses clean or goes on the top rack of the dishwasher, and stores flat.
The product was the winner of the BHF Most Innovative Product of the Show award at the Autumn fair 2004 and has also been awarded the Top Tool or Gadget at the Excellence in Housewares Awards 2004.
